Maple Turner III: “The Gilded Age.” An Art Centric Gala
June 3, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm$50
June 3, 2017 on the third floor of the historic Knox Building, we will be presenting an art centric gala featuring Youngstown born artist Maple Turner III, and benefitting the Northwoods Golf Academy program of the Ebony Ladies & Youth Foundation. This will be a unique and unprecedented experience, with layers of culture and history culminating together in an odyssey of Visual, Culinary, and Auditory delights.
Maple Turner III. While Mr. Turner’s work has been as diverse as it is prolific, this show will concentrate on the theme “The Gilded Age.” Historically the term was coined by Mark Twain for the times after the civil war and up to the turn of the 20th century (1865-1898), a time in many ways reflecting our own.
Setting the tone auditorily will be a string quartet led by Youngstown Symphony bassist Jeff Bremer.

Proceeds of the art and $50 ticket sales to benefit the Northwoods Golf Academy program Ebony Ladies & Youth Foundation.
Hosted and presented by Lemon Grove LLC, dedicated to the economic and cultural vitality of Youngstown, OH. Since acquiring the Knox Bldg in 2012.
